Vacuum polarization and magnetic moment of a heavy nucleus
The contribution of the vacuum polarization to the magnetic moment of a heavy nucleus is considered. The leading term is obtained in Zα, using the electron Green's function in the Coulomb field. This term contains a large logarithm of the ratio λe R, where R is the nuclear radius. © 1989.
