Properties of the photon polarization operator in a long-wave vacuum field in QCD
The analytical properties of the photon polarization operator Παβ(q) are considered using the Lorentz-invariant averaging over the covariantly constant field Gων orientation in QCD. It is shown that the usual operator expansion is valid below the threshold. It turns out that Παβ(q) has no cut in the complex plane q2. This means quark confinement in this field. © 1984.
