Production and decay of ≡c0 at BABAR
Using 116.1fb-1 of data collected by the BABAR detector, we present an analysis of Ξc0 production in B decays and from the ccÂ continuum, with the Î≡c0 decaying into Î©-K+ and Î≡- Ï€+ final states. We measure the ratio of branching fractions B(Î≡c0â†'Î©-K+)/B(Î≡c0â †'Î≡-Ï€+) to be 0.294Â±0. 018Â±0.016, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The Î≡c0 momentum spectrum is measured on and 40Â MeV below the Î¥(4S) resonance. From these spectra the branching fraction product B(Bâ†'Î≡c0X)Ã- B(Î≡c0â†'Î≡-Ï€+) is measured to be (2.11Â±0.19Â±0.25)Ã-10-4, and the cross-section product σ(e+e-â†'Î≡c0X)Ã- B(Î≡c0â†'Î≡-Ï€+) from the continuum is measured to be (388Â±39Â±41)fb at a center-of-mass energy of 10.58Â GeV. © 2005 The American Physical Society.
