Rates, Polarizations, and Asymmetries in Charmless Vector-Vector B Meson Decays
Charmless vector-vector B mesons decays involving φ, ρ and K *(892) were investigated. Branching fractions, degree of longitudinal polarization and CP violation asymmetries were studied. BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- collider was used. The results show the uncertainty on the charge asymmetry due to the track reconstruction efficiency is less than 0.02. It was found that the measured longitudinal polarization can be used in the study of decay dynamics.
