CVC test in e+ e- → K over(K, -) and τ- → K- K0 ντ processes

The combined fitting of the e+ e- → K+ K- and KS KL cross sections in the energy range from K over(K, -) threshold up to 2.15 GeV is done. The fit includes contributions from ρ, ω, φ{symbol} mesons, and their radial and orbital excitations. As a result of the fit, the isovector and isoscalar contributions to the total e+ e- → K over(K, -) cross section are obtained. The isovector part agrees with the τ → K over(K, -) ν spectral function, confirming CVC hypothesis. © 2008 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
