Study of the reaction e<sup>+</sup>e<sup>-</sup> → π<sup>0</sup>γ with the SND detector at the VEPP-2M collider

© 2016 American Physical Society. The process e + e - → π 0 γ is studied with the SND detector at the VEPP-2M e + e - collider. The e + e - → π 0 γ cross section is measured in the center-of-mass energy range from 0.60 to 1.38 GeV. The cross section is well described by the vector meson dominance model. From the fit to the cross-section data we determine the branching fractions B(ρ → π 0 γ) = (4.20 ± 0.52) × 10 -4 , B(ω → π 0 γ) = (8.88 ± 0.18)%, and B(φ → π 0 γ) = (1.367 ± 0.072) × 10 -3 , and the relative phase between the ρ and ω amplitudes φ ρ = (-12.7 ± 4.5)°. Our data on the process e + e - → π 0 γ are the most accurate to date.
