Because of the exception of the Upper Palaeolithic art and its fewness, the researches need to return to analyzing well-known specimens in order that revise and complete some points. The mobile art of the Siberian site Malta is very prominent because it reflects the level of development of the site’s technology and it is also the important characteristic of Malta’s archaeological culture. The article is devoted to the analysis of appearance of the central pendant of the necklace from the child’s burial in Malta. There are some aspects of its technology and making the ornament. The author also tries to definite some more principal image of the site’s art, which is passed with 8-shaped sign. The necessity of revising already published artifacts is confirmed in this article.
В связи с уникальностью верхнепалеолитического искусства и единичностью находок у исследователей возникает необходимость вновь и вновь возвращаться к известным предметам с целью пересмотра и дополнения некоторых моментов в их изучении. Мелкая пластика сибирской стоянки Мальта представляет большую ценность, поскольку отражает уровень развития технологии обработки сырья, а также является одним из признаков, характеризующих археологическую культуру. Настоящая статья посвящена анализу внешнего вида центральной подвески ожерелья из детской могилы стоянки Мальта. Рассмотрены аспекты технологии ее изготовления и нанесения орнамента. Предпринята попытка выделить, наряду с образом летящей птицы и женщины, еще один основной образ искусства стоянки Мальта, переданный с помощью восьмеркоподобного знака.
